Traditionally handmade in the Atlas Mountains using wool woven onto cotton in the kilim style, this rug measures 105 by 155cm. It features geometric patterns, the hallmark of Moroccan art, which convey a sense of balance. The zigzag patterns, for example, are often used to reflect life's journey or running water, whilst triangular shapes are used to represent fertility, wealth and success.
